I have been so busy with the new house and new puppy for the past few months I wanted to post some cool cat finds and of course, a pic of Tuffy the BluKat (above) who is also having a time adjusting to all of the changes!  Below: I found these cute photos on Pinterest from unknown sources.

DIY No-slip Clothes Hangers

Do you have problems with your clothes slipping off the hanger? A simple fix using shelf liners can solve the problem!

Materials:  Wooden hangers
                  Shelf liner ( I use the soft, stretchy, slightly sticky kind)

Tools: Staple gun, scissors



1)  Cut strips about 5" wide ( if you have big shoulders you may want to try longer! )

2)  Cut these into 3 1/2"  making  3 1/2 x 5" rectangles

3) Take a rectangle and with the 3 1/2" side begin wrapping the inside edge of the hanger, letting the rectangle drape over the hanger by about 1" ( see photos! ) and give it a couple staples.

5) Do the other side and you have a no-slip hanger! These will help keep the shoulders of sweaters and other shirts from getting misshaped too!
