Wow! What a fabulous bedroom! It is so uplifting with the pink and red combination and all that gold! It's absolutely rich! You have such pretty accessories. It must have taken you a long time to pull this room together. A room like this is not done in one day. I also love your wallpaper and the area rug. I guess I love everything. Now I can't wait to see the rest of your house. When I see a house like yours, it motivates me so much to just keep on working on mine.
I so love your ability to abandon yourself to the use of bold colours! Oh my goodness, I was forgetting the bathroom. It's very cheerful and here also, I love your mix of patterns. Not an easy thing to do. You have beautiful accessories and I love how you have organized the accessories on the shelves. I look forward to seeing the rest of your beautiful house.
You are so good at detail and color. It is a lovely bathroom and beautiful blue color, nice wallpaper. Your bedroom is also fine, it's quite a princess bedroom. Your curtains both places are nice set up, is there a special technique here? Nice work. Hugs Wyrna
Wyrna, thank-you! It has been a long time since I've made curtains but I think I may have gathered them at the top then folded them like an accordion and steamed. The top part maybe easier, I think I sewed a tube then gathered. My living room drapes are made from folded paper! I think I purchased a pleater but not sure if I used it!
My first thought when watching the bedroom was: The master of the house won't turn on the lights when going to bed... (LOL). Just kidding, both rooms are lovely, very detailed.
Seeing the rooms in your house I can tell how much work and thought you invested there. I love the colors and the position of every little item. I really like the towel rack in the bathroom where you also hanged a cute rubber hot water bed warmer. I often wondered where this item can be displayed. Hugs, Drora
Hello Heather! Two more very pretty and well thought out rooms! The bedroom is fussy and full of flowers and lace and so appropriate for the style of high Victorian that is the theme of your Beacon Hill. The bath has a lovely relaxing feel to it and the towels on the shelf are very nicely done! Your candle sconces turned out so well above the vanity in the bedroom and the shades of rose pink is deliciously feminine!

Lucille, Thanks so much! I love color; playing with cool blues and girly pinks and reds :)

Birgit, LOL maybe the master travels a lot! The whole house is a little flowery & girly but Victorians were kind of into that:)
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by!

Drora, Thanks so much! The rubber bed warmer and plunger were last minute details thanks to an abundance of reddish brown fimo!
